The Advisory Board for the College of Business at the Emirates College of Technology holds its third meeting on Saturday, June 15, 2019 under the patronage of Prof. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, the President and CEO, along with Prof. Ghassan Al Qaimari, the PROVOST - CAO, Dr. Ali Haj Khalifa - Director of Institutional Research and Quality Assurance, and Dr. Mohammed Dhiaf, the Dean of the College of Business, and a number of the Advisory Board and faculty members of the College of Business.
On occasion of the UAE 47th National Day, the Emirates College of Technology organized a lively event which commemorates the noble meanings and noble goals achieved by the efforts of the founding father Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May Allah have mercy on him. Emirates College of Technology (ECT) held the ECT Ramadan Sports Tournament at the ECT campus on May 14, 2019, to promote health and fitness and provide an opportunity for different members of the ECT community to interact with one another in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. The tournament had 8 sports teams were organized by the Office of Student Affairs at ECT. The sports tournament was held to promote friendship, cultivate healthy lifestyle habits, and enhance wellness among the college's students and staff and to bring them closer to one another and to the College, as they constitute an integral part of ECT's wider community.
ECT had the honour to host, on Thursday, October 25, 2018, in Al Bateen Campus, Dr Mustafa Al Taei from Ajman University, who held the workshop (Skills of Designing Advanced Scientific Research- Statistical Processes and Analysis Methods). Dr Mohammad Fyadh, Dean of the Media College as well as the college professors participated in the event.
Emirates College of Technology (ECT) celebrated its 22nd graduation ceremony on the 23rd of April at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi; honouring more than 500 students for their outstanding achievements. The graduation ceremony was presided over by President of ECT, Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni, with Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan attending the event as a guest of honour.

The delegation also had an insightful engagement with ECT senior management on a variety of topics such as academic services, curriculum content, context, scope & alignment, modes of delivery, project phases & timelines.
Emirates College of Technology (ECT), one of UAE’s oldest and most prestigious universities accredited for quality higher education; has signed an MoU with Happiness Colors International announcing the launch of a first of its kind executive program tailored for happiness titled “Happiness Makers”. The collaboration, formed under the umbrella of ECT’s Center of Continuing Education, comes in conjunction with the International Day of Happiness commemorated on March 20th and coincides with the college’s move to a new building located in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
The Student Affairs Department at Emirates College of Technology (ECT) has launched a health awareness campaign which features a series of events and activities to be held throughout the day on March 12, 2019.
